The island of Tino, for its location and dimensions is considered the intermediate one: to the north we find the Palmaria island, the biggest one, whereas to the south there is the smaller Tinetto island.
The peculiarly of this island is that its surface is an entirely military restricted zone. For this reason, you can visit the island only twice in a year: on 13 September for the fair of San Venerio and on the following Sunday.
As the island is military territory, the mooring of unauthorised boats is strictly forbidden.
