The village of Portovenere, together with the archipelago of the Palmaria Island (Palmaria, Tino e Tinetto) were designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site and are under the protection of the Regional Natural Park of Portovenere. The beauty and the uniqueness of these extraordinary places were celebrated over the centuries by eminent artists and writers coming from all over the world.

The Cinque Terre
